Review # 1 was written on 2021-01-17 00:00:00 Scott Persinger This book actually made me worried about my relationship with my husband rather than being an informative read. It had a series of distressing situations that could happen during the pregnancy and after the birth (where the solution was to have sex). At one point it said to resume sex after birth, even though it might be uncomfortable. You have to force yourself to do it... or else. I skipped the whole chapter on labor and birth because it all takes place in a hospital, which is not my plan. In fact, I think the book mentions midwives once, then after that it is all about the doctor. I took notes, but to sum up: talk with your partner about concerns and have sex often. |
