Review # 1 was written on 2015-05-09 00:00:00 Ethel Bowles This is the most intellectually exciting book I've read in some time. It's given me so much to think about, and made a philosopher I already stood in awe of considerably more awesome. A marvelous book.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-10-28 00:00:00 Timothy Gowin One way you can read Aristotle's Politics as the theoretical reflection on Plato's Republic. Davis' interpretations particularly show this great tie. Very insightful and beautifully written.
