Review # 1 was written on 2018-01-20 00:00:00 Vincent Madrigal Noreen loaned me this book, but I was disappointed the author didn't know about her at the time of writing! I thought her name should have mentioned with the other secretaries. |
Review # 2 was written on 2013-04-21 00:00:00 Natasha Dawdy I enjoyed this book because I'm interested in the subject, but it was very broad and not particularly detailed. There were few accounts of specific people's experiences, and though he mentions that people have commented about certain aspects of their time at Beaulieu he rarely actually quotes them or gives detail, which I found quite frustrating. Having said that, I did enjoy the book, as it gave a broad, if brief, idea of the function of Beaulieu and what students learnt there. |
