Review # 1 was written on 2015-08-07 00:00:00 Robert Anthony Imam Abdullah Haron, whom this book is about, was a great Muslim figure in South Africa in the 20th century. He battled against apartheid until he eventually succumbed to his death as a result of severe torture in a Cape Town prison in 1969. His tale is worth reading up on. However, the author of this book made up for the lack of resources on Haron's struggle by making up half of his story. He does explain this and details his method of reconstruction but there is no hiding that this is a shortfall. |
Review # 2 was written on 2014-02-03 00:00:00 Kid Zymurgy Harrowing tale of one man's bravery against the oppressive apartheid regime. |
