Review # 2 was written on 2018-04-25 00:00:00 Tanya Pizzicarola Hemingway's Paris, by Robert Gajdusek, is a photo book of the various spaces and places once frequented and favored by Ernest Hemingway (he lived in Paris for 7 years). I would have preferred more color photos (the majority are black and white), but I also found myself pleasantly delighted throughout the experience. This is not a true-read book, but the photos are bordered by healthy excerpts of text from Hemingway by-lines, Hemingway books (largely A Moveable Feast, of course), and books about Paris and Hemingway. If you like any of those things, this book will please. |
