Review # 2 was written on 2014-02-02 00:00:00 William Sharp A provocative book which depicts different love affairs of the authoress first from her point of view and then from the point of view of the her ex-lover. In line with the motto "Love is the child of freedom" these stories show that as soon as one starts expecting or imprisoning love, it dies. Broegger was consequent enough to break off when this point was reached. Love is shown in its pure form and at the same time the almost impossible way to keep it alive in a society which is fixed on property. As we live in a world that is dominated by trading we tend to impose this thinking also on fields in which it is not at all suitable: Love.
