Review # 1 was written on 2019-02-07 00:00:00 Sandra Howard Genre: Picture Book - Board Book Awards: None Audience: Infant - Preschool A: The pages of this book are hard boards allowing a small child to look through it without tearing the pages. B: The illustrator uses texture on the dog's fur to show the reader what dog fur would actually look like. It makes it seem more realistic and may cause the reader to reach out to pet the dog in the story. C: In a preschool classroom I may put this book out for children to look through on their own, but I would not read this as a whole class read aloud. Parents would use this book to read to their babies during story time. D: What is something Biscuit is thankful for? Answer: Biscuit is thankful for morning walks. |
Review # 2 was written on 2018-11-16 00:00:00 Linda Poe Both the girls and I were enchanted by Biscuit's sweetness, cuteness, loyalty, and his friendliness! I am thankful, that Biscuit, is part of children's literature! I am trying to collect all the Biscuit books; and hopefully be able to share them with my grandbabies! |
