Review # 1 was written on 2010-08-26 00:00:00 Nelson Floyd I can't get over these prints or their size. I love how he used his process to create his own version of Japanese block prints of massive proportion. That was my favorite interview too

Review # 2 was written on 2008-02-22 00:00:00 Garrett Stauffer Chuck Close is an interesting artist and I could give more stars here except for there being so little text, plus an interview. The process Close follows is original and his choice of subject matter (for the most part his family and close friends, many from his student days at Yale--Serra, Marden) gives added interest to his work. The plates are terrific.
