Review # 1 was written on 2013-01-20 00:00:00 Allan Cassady A brilliant psychiatrist and researcher into female sexuality, Mary Jane Sherfey shook the medical establishment with her book claiming that woman's natural sexuality was insatiable and is actively being suppressed in order to maintain patriarchy . As usual, whenever the male sexual status quo is challenged, the forces mobilize to discredit not only the contention, but also the messenger. Thus it was with Dr. Sherfey. Her book is filled with thoughtful and insightful conclusions about woman's sexuality that ring true today. Although she wasn't yet aware of the female sex paradigm, she was on the verge of its discovery when she dies suddenly before she could write her second volume. This book is another must read for any woman wanting to understand and express her natural sexuality.
