Review # 1 was written on 2011-07-25 00:00:00 Diego Basualdo From one of my favorite professors as an undergrad (he was visiting from UC--Santa Cruz), and I particularly appreciated how his focus on Greek classics culminates with a chapter on Thomas Pynchon's The Crying of Lot 49. I read this years ago, but I have returned to it occasionally when teaching Pynchon. |
Review # 2 was written on 2011-06-17 00:00:00 William Gonce Excellent investigation into Plato's use of existing rhetorical forms in order to critique and uproot the socio-political situation of classical Athens. |
