Review # 1 was written on 2021-02-26 00:00:00 BRIAN CRAWLEY I struggled through it. It was very doomsday-y and full of opinions. Lots of claims of being rational and seeing the truth, but clearly biased. There were some interesting predictions made that did come true (hyperinflation of the 80s). But most of them, and the extent thereof, never came to pass. And the author still continues to preach (and profit) from the same old message.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-10-14 00:00:00 Ryan Hawes I found this book and read it around 2014. I was so impressed with the ideas in it,many of which I find as valid today as the were in 1979, that I flew down to a conference where Doug Casey was speaking and actually got to meet the great man himself. Since then I have followed Casey’s work and listened many of his interviews.
