Review # 1 was written on 2018-06-17 00:00:00 Bill Wilson Oh my. I picked this book up at my local library because I was genuinely curious. Oh boy. There were so many subplots that just didn't feel like they went anywhere, leading to a lot of lead up and a lot of disappointment. Also, is this the mind of a teenage girl? I can't really tell, but it's kind of all over the place and at times I felt like the emphasis on shopping and stuff just felt kind of superficial. However, there are some recipes sprinkled in there which I haven't tried, but maybe I'll try to make them some day to see if they can boost this book's rating a star.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-11-06 00:00:00 Bart Collins Wow, just wow it took me half of the book to finally understand any sort of plot. I definitely could have gone without all of the girly slang for sure. The only good thing I could find about the book is in the end it showed some signs of more body positivity, but even that was scuffed by the main character talking non stop about how fat she thought she was when she was obviously curvy and comparing herself to her smaller friends. The little side animations were ok but the notes next to it really just made me want to puke. Just not for me I guess
