Level 3 beginning reader. Two friends have to interact with Chip's sisters on a play date at the park. The pigs learn to play with the wolf instead of being afraid.

This book would be great for children that are in between picture book and transition books. There are plenty of pictures and the text easy to comprehend. There is some repetition of words that will make it easier for a younger reader to read. This is an adorable book about Chip (a pig), Fitch (wolf), and a planned day of fun at the park. Chip has an easy going personality and does not care if he plans things out or not. On the other hand, Fitch is always planning out every last detail. All the detail were planned out and set into place, until Chip was late and had his three sisters with him (which were afraid of Fitch…WOLF). Then Fitch had to do some recalculating so that everyone could participate in all the activities.
