I wrote Loose Threads to revisit our family's experience with breast cancer. The verse format carried the emotion and intensity well. This books stands in memory of my grandmother, great grandmother, and alongside my mother, and me.

This book is reading appropriate for primary aged children. This book is about a young girl in seventh grade who finds out that her grandma has breast cancer. While dealing with this, she is battling junior high and popularity and a few other difficult things. COMMENTS: This book is helpful in teaching students with understanding cancer or dealing with knowing someone with cancer .
