This picture book has the letters and few vocab words (1-3 per page) written big for children to read clearly, but then has adult-level explanation of the artifacts underneath written small. Let kids travel into Egypt while practicing reading books independently. This is such an amazing book to teach about Africa at an early age! The pictures are clear and precise, and almost normalizes African artifacts to kids, making cultural education almost a breeze. Possible Classroom Uses: 1) Teach African history or culture while teaching the alphabet (ex. B = Baboon) 2) Allow children to make a list of things with a certain letter
