This was a cute book about the character Ranger Rick who I remember well from my childhood and how he makes a fox, Scarlett, feel welcome in their little portion of the woods after she moves in.

A fascinating look at how Christianity progressed/adapted/coped during the Enlightenment period (c. 1650-1800), as well as captivating, in-depth yet succinct bios of the intellectual luminaries of the day (although at times the author appears to get so enamored with the philosophers and deists that "The Faith" gets forgotten for several pages).
