Review # 1 was written on 2021-01-02 00:00:00 Denise Huete I found all the stories interesting to read. However, I think it is sad in itself that there is a deep undercurrent of regret, dissatisfaction, resentment and unworthiness in much of what I have read. Very little joy or happiness. Is the life of a mother of Ireland really so woeful? |
Review # 2 was written on 2020-05-05 00:00:00 John Woos Some of the stories are uplifting while others are more hard hitting. It is an excellent compilation of stories with many a varied representation of the mother-daughter relationship amongst families of Irish heritage. |
