Review # 2 was written on 2012-12-05 00:00:00 Alan Hoshor Fundamental wine enthusiast reading about Zinfandel in California and its origins. Also covers history of Ridge Vineyards and other old vines sources. Includes several tips for wine tasting and keeping standards objective. My copy is heavily annotated, highlighted, and worn, loaned to many. There are more recent books, with greater scientific results, but none more interesting to read.
