| Review # 1 was written on 2015-09-17 00:00:00 Paul L. Boyko I think this is an amusing book. Surprising ability to fly! That's the dream! But through delightful activities Sophy did with her Auntie Pearl (ice cream in the clouds--that's THE dream!), this book makes me sad a ton. Her parents, as well as Auntie Pearl's, who didn't care about her strange ability seems like one of those guys who try to suppress quirks of a child just so they can conform the society and live well enough without troubles. I think tho this was written cheerfully, this book has a touch of mournfulness. |
