Review # 1 was written on 2018-01-17 00:00:00 Russell Gowan Great book that I read some time ago. I tried to re-read it but could not get through it. I guess my "reading appetite" has evolved. But it was a great read!

Review # 2 was written on 2011-07-18 00:00:00 Heather Canty This book was very difficult for my to "get into". It didn't start flowing well for me until almost page 200. I'm not very familiar with this author, but I do hear his other books are very different from this one. It was hard to submerge myself into because the beginning chapters were so choppy. One chapter would be discussing a couple, the very next chapter would jump to other characters. I just feel this book lacked cohesiveness for the vast majority of the novel. If I didn't feel obligated to finish this book because I started it, I would have probably never picked it up.... this book just wasn't my cup of love.
