Review # 2 was written on 2009-03-12 00:00:00 Stanislav Repin Is there an objective difference between "left" and "right"? (Directions, not political philosophies). If you had to explain it in a radio message to an alien intelligence somewhere else in the Universe, who couldn't see any of the things you had around you, what would you say? Is it even possible in principle? In case you didn't know, it turns out that the answer is yes! But it REALLY isn't obvious. Martin Gardner does a good job of telling the story. |
