Review # 1 was written on 2014-08-20 00:00:00 Michael Pierce This is a very fine guide book. The emphasis is on the history of Oregon, and each entry about a town or point of interest includes something of historic significance. Less emphasis on hotels, restaurants, etc., though there is some of that, too. It's an excellent resource for getting the lay of the land. The maps, divided into specific regions, are wonderful. The photos are spectacular. I bookmarked many pages in this book in preparation for my upcoming trip to what I expect to be a fascinating state.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-04-02 00:00:00 John Gardner Saturday, 3 July 2010. Bought this book while browsing in the Cannon Beach Book Company. Wanted to have it for our trip to Cannon Beach, but couldn't find it in Tacoma. Happy to have stumbled upon it here. Will use it for our trip to Hug Point tomorrow.
