Covers aspects of the books from perspectives you may not have considered before. Also, their genesis within the Syndicate, their early authors and the contracts they worked under. Fine read for the more than casual fan.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-08-02 00:00:00 Stephen Carr This reads like an expanded version of a senior thesis. Fairly informative, with some fun background about the novel industry back in America's heyday, but only blandly so.
