Review # 1 was written on 2008-10-28 00:00:00 Sean Murphy You have to be careful about studies with a sample size of one, especially when the subject is Emily Oster, the woman who figured out what happened to 100 million missing women before she even graduated from college. That said, I found this book interesting; I would recommend reading this in conjunction with Steven Pinker's The Language Instinct. As the mother of a bright child who also doesn't want to sleep, the interactions between baby Emily and her parents at nap and night-time elicited deep belly laughs. |
Review # 2 was written on 2011-07-06 00:00:00 Jose Marquez This is a very good book about Shakespeare in the context of the times in which he lived. I've been rereading Henry IV 1 & 2 as well, and I would like to give a humble recommendation to revisit those plays, as well as The Tempest, in these tempestuous, yet oddly still times. They're helping. Hope everyone is holding tight. |
