Review # 1 was written on 2010-02-13 00:00:00 Michael Hayes I didn't know what time of year Orion dives below the New England horizon, and when he reappears. I also didn't know that the nebulas and star clusters are so easy to find with a telescope or strong binoculars once you know where they are located in the sky. The timing of both the Perseid and Leonid meteor showers is noted. Certainly, I would re-affirm the timing with a local astronomy club, but its always good to know when the exciting things will be happening in the great above. |
