Review # 1 was written on 2018-08-03 00:00:00 Anthony Dibattista This is a non-fiction title, published in 1976. It is a good reference to the history of wine making and wineries, up until the early 1970s, in California.

Review # 2 was written on 2010-12-23 00:00:00 Rachel McHugh Fundamental wine enthusiast reading about Zinfandel in California and its origins. Also covers history of Ridge Vineyards and other old vines sources. Includes several tips for wine tasting and keeping standards objective. My copy is heavily annotated, highlighted, and worn, loaned to many. There are more recent books, with greater scientific results, but none more interesting to read.
