Review # 1 was written on 2021-06-19 00:00:00 Emanuel Karas This book has only one previous reviewer who damned it with faint praise. I was quite dismayed by that. I can't claim to be any kind of an expert on Nazi history books because this is the only one I've got, but I certainly found it well worth my time. I have a lot of interests competing for my time. Some of them get more of my time than others. I'm probably more interested in this kind of thing than the majority of people, and this book more than satisfied my interest in the origins of the Nazi Party so I expect it will satisfy most other people too. What more can I say? |
Review # 2 was written on 2020-03-23 00:00:00 Hugo Zapata John Bradley's text doesn't offer much other than a conventional history that you would probably find on a 60 minute documentary on the Yesterday or History channels. It does, however, contain a great selection of photographs, which is ultimately what you want from a book like this. |
