Is a unique alphabet book as its pages are exploding with vibrant colors and pop-art to go along with each letter. The book features familiar everyday objects illustrated with lively colors and striking designs aimed to entice young readers. Each page is simple—there is a single letter and corresponding word that goes with the letter (Ex. P→Pig). Review: This book is a great way for young learners to visualize and practice the alphabet as well as gain new vocabulary words. I think the brilliant images will attract students to see what the book has to offer. The content being familiar items will engage students to utilize it. In Class Use: This book can be used as a reference when teaching students the alphabet. It can also be used to teach phonological and phonemic awareness.

The illustrations are all drawn out in traditional pop-art form, with a drawing accompanying a letter on each page. Review: Personally, I love art and find pop art to be very appealing to the eye. Pop-art is vibrant and bold, each object stands out on the page. It's a cool book to have not only an educator, but a lover of art. In Class Use: Teaching the alphabet, Teaching an art class on pop-art and using these images as examples of what pop art can look like, kids could then make their own pop-art pieces and release their inner Andy Warhol.
