In love with the poetry of Celaya. It swept me off my feet. First half of the poems almost always had the word moon, or mirrors, or both. Later on, other words made their appearance, and the poems changed their tone from more intimate to, I'd say, more preoccupied with the man's place in the world. I was looking at the collection or book the poems were part of, and it seems that he has a strong theme and favorite words for every group of poems. I'm starting to appreciate nice editions in which there's an introduction, such as my edition, by the translator, maybe notes or introduction to some poems. And I'm also getting addicted to the bilingual versions that offer me the bonus of the poems in the only two languages I read. If you know a bit of Spanish, getting a book such as this, (or any bilingual poetry book where you know one language well and you have varying degrees of knowledge of the alternate language), could help you learn a lot, and it will amplify your enjoyment of the poems. I'm reading it again right now. I'm still very new to poetry, but I think I've finally picked a good path to travail. (Poetry in Spanish, or bilingual, good editions that showcase a poet, or collections, and the fact that, the more poetry you read, the more you like it.)

IF I should die, think only this of me; That there's some corner of a foreign field That is for ever England. There shall be In that rich earth a richer dust concealed; A dust whom England bore, shaped, made aware, 5 Gave, once, her flowers to love, her ways to roam, A body of England's breathing English air, Washed by the rivers, blest by suns of home. And think, this heart, all evil shed away, A pulse in the eternal mind, no less 10 Gives somewhere back the thoughts by England given; Her sights and sounds; dreams happy as her day; And laughter, learnt of friends; and gentleness, In hearts at peace, under an English heaven.
