Review # 1 was written on 2020-05-23 00:00:00 Charlein Lemmon The author has been an online friend of mine for the last decade, and just got word that this book will receive the Pinkney prize in March of this year (2009) which is awarded annually for the best book in French history. I'm quite excited for her and intriqued to read it!!!:-)

Popiel, lecture/q&a for our class, Love and Marriage in Eighteenth-Century Portraiture - it was a wonderful experience! I'm very interested to see the results of her latest research, which we got a sneak preview of in class!
