Review # 2 was written on 2020-01-12 00:00:00 Mark Spence An excellent short history of the French Revolution that is not mired in Anglophilic counter-revoutionary mythology. As Jefferson and Madison, for all their faults, recognized, the French Revolution was an epochal event in the march of progress towards human emancipation.
