Review # 1 was written on 2018-11-18 00:00:00 Daniel Kaminski One of the most frustrating things about contemporary white people is that we lack any sense of historical consciousness. When I lived abroad in Japan for a short spurt, I realized how much the Japanese are steeped in, and aware of, their own particular history and culture and how much they proudly take ownership of it. Whites, on the other hand, do not take ownership over their own history and claim it as THEIR HISTORY. Instead they think about and discuss their history in a purely abstract way, and worse yet, they allow other people to claim ownership of it. Instead of asserting that Hellenism and the Romans, for instance, is a part of WHO THEY ARE, whites will claim that these are a part of the heritage of all of humanity and not just of themselves. They will do the same with the Celtic and Germanic/Nordic heritages, and with the heritages of all western European nations like Portugal, Spain, France, the Low countries, Britain, etc. This lack of historical consciousness, and the lack of protest over claims that any of the above mentioned things belong to anyone else but us, are a part of a deep spiritual disease that has infected all of White mankind. Because we are not aware of how each individual is merely the latest link in a great chain going back for millennia, our collective consciousness is locked in the present, and it limits our imaginations of what is possible for us in the future. There is no other group of people that is more justified in feeling pride and power in its history and in its identity than white people. If the legacy of the white race consisted of JUST the Greeks, Romans, Celts, and Scandinavians, that alone would be enough to justify preserving our existence for all time and fighting to preserve it against all odds. But no: to the history of the white race you can also add the legendary sagas of Spain, Portugal, France, the British Isles, the Netherlands, the Germans, Russia, and all of eastern Europe. If ONLY ONE of these nations was a part of the story of the white race, we would be worth preserving, but instead EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM is a precious jewel in the treasury of the white race's glory. It is breath-taking, awe-inspiring, what the white race has accomplished and the obstacles it has overcome. Whites are an irreplaceable and special people, and our destiny is yet to be fulfilled despite what our enemies may wish. My favorite parts of this book are all the times it chronicles when Whites were invaded by foreign armies and nearly faced extinction. There are eight conflicts that stand out as "Great Race Wars" to Arthur Kemp: the wars against Atilla the Hun and his armies from central asia (372-454), the Crusades (1095-1270), the Muslim invasions (711-1492), the Magyar alliance of central asian nomads invading Europe (550-950), the Mongolian invasion and the subsequent rebellion against their rule in Russia (550-950), the wars against the Ottoman Empire (1300-1919), the (very one-sided) wars against the natives of America, and the wars between the United States and the predominantly mestizo Mexico. There are many other conflicts documented as well that are not on a big enough of a scale to warrant a whole chapter devoted to them by the author. When I read those chapters, it really sunk in how much my entire existence and everything I have ever enjoyed about it are all the result of men who are stronger than me who fought courageously (and with no certainty of winning) for me to be able to enjoy what I enjoy. If any one of the eight wars mentioned above had turned out differently, then the world would be a living hell for white people, if we even continued to exist at all after the foreign hordes had conquered us. If you have ever enjoyed European culture (art, music, architecture, literature, etc.), if you have ever appreciated the beauty of a person of European descent, then you can thank the brave warriors who fought to preserve our race from destruction in its darkest hours for that. If you are a white person who enjoys being able to have a say about what goes on in their life, then this book is a great reminder to you that the cost of freedom is paid with blood. This book is so astoundingly good that I am simply astonished that it is not featured more prominently in pro-white circles. It is, as far as I am aware, the only racially conscious history book that can claim to cover the whole span of white history in all of existence. Given how many "African history" and "Jewish history" books there are, this is atrocious. In the future, Kemp's book will be used as a stepping stone to construct even better and even more beautiful books about the complete history of the white race. It is breathtaking in its scope, going all the way from the mysterious far-gone past to the immediate present and nearly everything in between. It is only because of the scope of what this book covers that it is nearly 2,000 pages long and not at all because of any kind of pedantry on Kemp's part. Kemp's writing style is, in fact, succinct and full of logic and clarity. The content in the beginning of the book is especially mind-blowing. Ancient India and Egypt where ruled and led by white minorities (Yes: WE WUZ PHARAOHZ AND BRAHMINZ AND SHEEEIT) who ruled over masses of racial others as the book demonstrates through archaeological and genetic evidence. When I first started reading this book, I was very skeptical about Egypt being a society ruled by a white minority for much of its existence, but Kemp had me convinced in the end. Kemp even suggests the same for Ancient Mesopotamia and Peru, but I am less convinced about those two. There are indeed many statues and figurines from Mesopotamia depicting people with blue-eyes, and there are indeed Peruvian relics depicting blue-eyed people and many Peruvian mummies even have red hair. White people are of course the only ones who can have blue-eyes or red-hair, and other races can only acquire those traits through miscegenation... but in my opinion those are mysteries that remain to be solved, particularly in the case of Peru. In the case of Mesopotamian art depicting people with blue eyes I think it is more likely that they were migrants from Scythia or Anatolia who became involved in Mesopotamian society and were not its explicit rulers. Skeletons of white people found in north america dating all the way back to the Stone Age, which some take to calling the Solutreans, are another interesting piece of the puzzle of white history. Really, though, we will never begin to unravel these mysteries of what the very distant past of white people in other lands was like until the present anti-white establishment has been purged from academia and research institutions. Towards the end of Kemp's book, he lucidly describes our present demographic crisis and some of the causes that brought it about (though in this respect I do not think he goes far enough). People who think that the only cause of white decline is the trickery of a certain mercantile tribe would do well to read this book and find out that they where only able to do what they did because of certain pre-existing problems in our culture. Whites are, unfortunately, more than capable of destroying ourselves without (((their))) help. But if we construct an ethnostate with the lessons of history in mind, then we can avert another ethnosuicidal tragedy (of which there have been many) from happening. I have only two problems with Kemp's book. First of all, and this is a huge deal, there isn't an extensive bibliography. I trust Kemp as a historian and as a person in general, but because of the lack of an extensive bibliography (at least in my edition, which I understand is older) many people would not take this book seriously at all. He obviously put a load of research and work into this massive tome, and it strikes me as bizarre that he would not include a bibliography. I personally would like there to be one simply for the sake of further reading on the topics brought up here. My other problem with this book is that Kemp will often claim that certain groups of people are white which clearly are not. I am thinking particularly of the Phoenicians. Kemp claims that the Phoenician and Carthaginian civilization where "Old European" (like the Minoans) in origin, even though all evidence seems to suggest that they were a Semitic civilization that sometimes just so happened to employ white people as mercenaries and workers. He also claims that the Indus River Valley people, the Harappans, where an "Old European" people, but I don't think there is enough evidence for this either. These two problems do not justify me knocking off a star on my five-star rating, though, because all of the goodness of it makes up for it. All in all, this book is simply outrageously epic and it should be read by every single person who doesn't want white people to be rootless cosmopolitans in the entire world. HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
