5* art 5* stories A collection of 4 stories: The Three Little Pigs The Three Bears The Little Red Hen Cat Goes Fiddle-i-fee Galdone is one of my favorite illustrators, lovely and bold pictures. The 3 Little Pigs - what a terrifying story - I had forgotten! All that huffing and puffing and sharp shiny teeth! Not for the faint of heart. Cat Goes Fiddle-i-fee was more problematic. I had to look the song up on Youtube - it makes more sense to sing it than read it. Squirt looked puzzled - "fiddle-i-fee"??

1. Awards the book has received: None 2. Appropriate grade level(s): K-3rd 3. Original summary: Stories of The Three Pigs, The Three Bears, The Little Red Hen, and Cat Goes Fiddle-i-fee. 4. Original review: This is such a cute book. As a person who grew up abroad, I still really enjoyed reading these tales. Very well known as well and it was way more cute with the illustrations. 5. 1-2 possible in-class uses: can be used for stories read-aloud and vocabulary word matching
