Review # 1 was written on 2011-06-05 00:00:00 Emmanuel Landau Okay, I had to read this book to study for the mandatory Constitution test one has to pass here in California in order to get a teaching credential. Still it was interesting to review all this American history basics. The book is laid out very simply - the test, however, is True or False, which I found baffling. You must answer 60 of the 75 questions correctly to pass. I'm feelin' 62. Cool trivia type stuff inside like the order in which the 50 states came into the union. Also the line about Europeans wanting to find a better route to India because there were "spices, other goods and ideas" that Europeans desired.
