I read the book because I was indeed looking for some practical advice on managing stress and overwhelming thoughts in my workplace. I found Paul Hellman's discussion of topics very funny. The tone of the book is incredibly laid back. Everything is a joke in the book, from discussing the 60,000 thoughts you can have in a day, to what to do when you your boss gave you a weird look in the hallway. The reader has to read in between the jokes to get the gist of the advice Hellman's giving. If you're willing to read in between the lines to understand the pithy advice then you'll like it. Don't expect anything too much depth from the book.

I tried to get through it, but it was too hokey and jokey and would have been much better as a pamphlet with some tips to get over work fears/anxieties, rather than stretching it out into a quasi full length book. I'm sure some people would get more out of it than I did, but the jokes were a turn off.
