Review # 1 was written on 2007-06-21 00:00:00 John Davis This book is cool, because it's not prose so much as factoids. Sometimes I like to get my information in little bits at a time. This book is divided into chapters and then each chapter is in timeline form. Lots of fascinating information here.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-08-30 00:00:00 Baby Boy Gardiner makes a humble gesture by adding 'An Introduction' to the title. This book is more than an introduction, where Gardiner acts a tough but enabling mediator between a humongous account of literature on everyday life and us. The language and terminology is not always easy to understand, however if you patience through certain parts, you will get yor reward many times. Only one minor criticism might be, the lack of parallelisms to actual instances, tactics, events of everyday life, which I assume is an authoritarian choice and I respect it.
