Review # 1 was written on 2017-12-30 00:00:00 Gene A. Patterson Jr. There were a lot of contradictory claims and repetition. Speaking of Salk in the present text, the book is quite outdated. Now there are many sources that talk about the cultural aspect of polio and the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis. Probably a good choice for the 1980's but not for today. One positive was that Rogers explained why she chose each of the sources she used.
