Review # 1 was written on 2008-11-20 00:00:00 Andy Williams Meh. Not much of a story here, but that's fine. It's really just a list of Valentine's Day words. Nothing wrong with that, but the fact is that these words are mostly going to be too hard for beginning readers to figure out on their own. Let's e honest here. "Valentine" is pretty hard for a little reader to sound out! And words like "hearts" and "lemonade" are going to end up being sight words at best for this age group. Don't discount this book if you just want to teach theme words, but don't hand it to a beginning reader and assume they can figure it out. Because I suspect many kids can't.

Review # 2 was written on 2012-04-16 00:00:00 Sam Nicholson Hmm, not very much, the illustrations are cute though. Story, meh
