Review # 1 was written on 2016-01-02 00:00:00 Twylia Suttle This was assigned as class reading for Civil Disobedience. The book provides a plethora of examples and pieces of literature that are thought provoking. It truly does make you question why the government works the way it does and why protesters practice crimes of dissent. As you finish reading each chapter, you become more aware of the injustices that are occurring around the world. I have a new profound respect for those who have the courage to protest against the government to fight against a policy that they don't agree with. Protesters kickass not only for being brave enough to challenge and undermine the authority of the state, but doing it openly with the intent to educate the public. It's a great read that stimulates the mind.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-01-03 00:00:00 SHAWN SMITH بعيدًا عن القصتين الأقل من عاديتين، الترجمة قتلت العمل شر قتلة، وكأن المترجم قرأ القصة أو سمعها من أحدهم ثم كتبها بأسلوبه الخاص المتكلف للغاية والمليء بالسجع المنفر الغير ملائم للقصة ولكلمة ترجمة بشكل عام، وصل تدخل المترجم في السرد لدرجة أنه أضاف بيتًا من الشعر من عنده بالتأكيد ليس له وجود في النص الأصلي، وما زاد من تطفله على النص أنه كان يسب ويلعن الشخصيات السيئة في القصتين، فما أن ياتي ذكر أحدهم حتى يلحقه بدعوة ( لعنة الله عليه ) وكأنه يحكي عن كفار قريش!، لذا، أكتفي بنجمتين لأجل ضحيتين حقيقيتين دافعتا عن شرفهما حتى الموت في زمنِ بعيد كان بالتأكيد أقل بؤسًا من زمننا الحالي الذي قل فيه من يعرف معنى الشرف. تمت
