Review # 1 was written on 2015-11-23 00:00:00 Brian Etzel Jenny Schwartz is a spectacular master of language. I had the privilege of seeing a production of this that was directed masterfully. The language simply flows and through your ears it massages your soul. In ways it seems that the language is simply just nonsensical and an overwhelming amount of cliches, but when read and handled appropriately the layers of the texts allow the audience to follow the family through the stages of their grieving. I find that this textual technique accesses deeper parts of human empathy as they are required to dig further within themselves to access the tools they need to dissect the text. An amazing piece of theatre that inspires me to keep writing

Review # 2 was written on 2009-07-26 00:00:00 Harold Skidds A capsizing of language that is glorious. This play made me believe again in what's possible rather than what's typical.
