Review # 1 was written on 2016-03-25 00:00:00 Kevin Moe I won this book in a goodreads drawing. This is a chilling memoir of an elderly woman's brush with the law in Montana. She found a watch in a parking lot. After trying to find the owner, even taking out an ad in the local newspaper, she kept the watch. Then for unknown reasons, the police decided to pursue a criminal case, and went to all sorts of extra legal measures to persecute her. Very troubling. |
Review # 2 was written on 2019-04-13 00:00:00 Bobby Dee Finders Keepers seems at first to be an angry writer's exposure of a minor injustice in the judicial system. The realization that it is an exposition of the petty nature of those who are supposedly defending our rights and our property soon is made obvious. Ms. Hope never backed down from those who try to bully others in supposed support of the law, an shows finally that the weakest knees are on those who prance most. |
