Review # 1 was written on 2017-12-03 00:00:00 Marthe Gardner I lost interest after the 1 1/2 chapters in. The author tried to make you work your tone and how you use your voice. Come'n I'm trying to have a verbal talk not making sex sounds in public.

It was likely in the neighborhood of twenty years ago when I read this. Date read is speculative. This book is one of many non-fiction books I have read about human sexuality. At some point in my youth, I consumed a large swath of this reading material -- most of which was scholarly, clinical, or instructional in nature. (I was totally a Dr. Ruth and Anka Radakovich fangirl.) Some societal attitudes have changed, new science is in, etc. -- so this review cannot account for modern sensibilities and current knowledge. On the other hand, there's not much new under the sun.
