Review # 1 was written on 2013-05-19 00:00:00 Mosalyn Parker Written by a brilliant mind, (he tells you so himself) Unger spends little time paraphrasing or summarizing, but charges straight through with a detailed framework of the concept of "rule of law" that leaves the reader either scrathing their head, or elated with the joy of discovery. I loaned my copy out 20 years ago, and wished I hadn't! |
Review # 2 was written on 2016-07-23 00:00:00 Chris Emory I read both volumes of this book. The first volume is about the persecution and flight from France. The second volume is about their settlements. I really had a different feeling for the settlement of America and the History of France after reading this book. It was very interesting. The book contains many individual names and stories. |
