Review # 1 was written on 2012-09-09 00:00:00 Aron Das Despite it being rather dry, it contains a lot of good info; particularly because there are a lot of transcriptions of contemporary documents. Considering when the book was written, it is surprisingly balanced in reporting both sides of the battle. |
Review # 2 was written on 2012-02-04 00:00:00 Alan Abril This is an excellent reference book for those soldiers and officers engaged in King Phillip's War. Who fought, when and where. All the battles have been discussed, all the strategies (both failed and successful). This book also provides historical and accurate perceptions of the Native American tribes in this colonial era and their leaders. |
