Despite the fact that this book was published almost 20 years ago, it has lots of practical ideas for children spanning most ages. The audience for this is definitely parents and teachers, but I think librarians can benefit as well. I actually found this book on a list of recommended reading for people dealing with aging & dementia in individuals with Down Syndrome. It was not at all helpful for that, it has inspired me to implement some of the ideas in my library's children's department to increase accessibility for neurodiverse kids.
