Review # 2 was written on 2011-01-19 00:00:00 Leo Calica Review from my book blog,Bookish-Escape. I finished this in around 3 hours because I wanted to finish and return it before school's out for the day, but I guess I read too fast, I ended up with nothing to do for a few hours. I really should've stayed home. I don't know if it was my reading speed or what, I think it's a light and fast paced book, and not exactly what I would call a fun book. Maybe because me and Chloe are having a same problem, much less dramatic but still really depressing for me, so it was actually quite sad and disturbing. I felt sad for her AND myself, too relatable with the same problem I guess, but she's much better at handling it. Anyway, I really enjoyed this book. The characters are likable, and yay for a really cute romance. I kind of wish I knew more about Bridget though, because I don't understand her. The pool playing parts bored me though, then again I'm not really interested in the game. The ending doesn't feel too final for me, because it wasn't the ending that I wanted, since it's similar to my real life problem's "ending", and I'm still hoping for a miracle. Conclusion: Light and fast paced, with a cute romance. :D I like this, it's very enjoyable. |
