Review # 1 was written on 2019-06-26 00:00:00 Joe Piro I used this title for a police-themed storytime, with a special guest from our local police department. I selected several books ahead of time and let him choose the one he wanted to read. This one went well because it talks about a police officer's job, their equipment, and what they do. There's a vocabulary breakdown at the beginning, and the officer went over all the words with the kids before reading. I would like to see an updated version of this (as some of the pictures really show their 10+ years), but all in all, a good storytime selection.
