Review # 1 was written on 2016-05-23 00:00:00 Thomas Balcerski Short, but informative book about having a pet cat. The narrative provides just enough detail about selecting and caring for a cat without being overwhelming or boring. And I liked that it recommends adopting one from a shelter. It's a good nonfiction/reference book for younger children and part of the True Books About Pets series.

The book includes photographs, captions and labels, vocabulary words, as well as diagrams. The sole purpose is to inform readers about what birds are and what they do.
