I was feeling uninspired for story time this morning and I was browsing the shelves; this gem inspired me. I can't believe as a 2008 publication that I haven't shared this previously... or I forgot I shared it previously... could be either one. I enjoyed sharing this story. It is a fun, rhyming text with just lovely illustrations - it really captured the feeling of a harried farm family heading off to market. Loved it and will certainly share it again.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-09-28 00:00:00 Richard Tackett I enjoyed this story about a family preparing to participate in Market Day. They load their apples into crates and rush to market, but leave the farm gate open. Once there, they unpack the fruit but are unaware of the rumbling taking place with the other sellers. The ground trembles and Ms. Cow is on the move. Good problem solving story.
