Review # 1 was written on 2019-06-12 00:00:00 Anthony Chung I didn't find this particular book to be useful. I particularly didn't like the decision to separate individual specific disease states into a super resume of the disease symptoms and then further ahead in the book, include separate chapters for mainstay drug treatment pharmachology and then anesthesia treatment. Information was also sorely lacking, and didn't talk much about preferred anesthesia techniques. Some patients will be best managed with neuroaxial blocks unless absolutely necessary, whereas other cases they forcibly need general anesthesia. Maybe this book is for you, but while I applaud this book for the brevity of its chapters, it did so at the expense of being more useful in clinical practice. |
